Tiny PNG best app to Compress Images for Faster Loading 2022

Tiny PNG is an online tool that’s great for compressing images to make them faster to load. It also lets you do batch processing of multiple images at once, and supports tons of different formats so that you can compress any image you need to in one place! Here’s how to use Tiny PNG to compress images for faster loading times on your website or app.
Download the App:
The best way to reduce the size of an image is by using a compression app like Tiny PNG. This can be done by uploading the photo through your browser, or exporting it from Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. The compressed file will have a .tiny png extension and will be 40% smaller in size.
Uploading an image through the browser is fast and easy, but when you have many photos that need optimization you can export them all at once and upload them with one click in Lightroom or Photoshop. You can also batch-compress files already on your computer by selecting Convert under File. When you’re ready to save, select Save as and choose Tiny PNG as the format.
Choose the Image you Want to Compress:
The first step is to click the ‘browse’ button and select the image you want to compress.
Next, click on the ‘upload’ button and choose where you saved your image.
You should now see a preview of your image on the right-hand side of your screen.
Click on the ‘advanced options’ tab at the top of your screen. Below are three tabs – gamma, colorspace, and canvas size: Click on the colorspace tab if you want to change from RGB (Red Green Blue) or CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) colors.
You can also change your canvas size by clicking in this box and then choosing one of three sizes: small, medium or large.
Select the Level of Compression You Want:
Tiny PNG is a great resource because it allows you to upload your image and then choose the level of compression that’s appropriate. You can opt for ‘lossy’ compression, which will result in reduced quality, but smaller files, or ‘lossless’ compression, which will result in higher quality files with larger file sizes. If you’re working on an app where pixel-perfection matters, then lossless is the way to go;
if not, lossy is more than fine. With Tiny PNG, there’s no need to download a separate tool just to compress an image – it handles all this in one place! All you have to do is upload an image by clicking the Upload button at the top of the screen and then choose the level of compression from either Lossy or Lossless.
When using Lossy, save space by choosing between four different levels: 12, 18, 25 or 50% compression. When using Lossless, save space by opting for either 6%, 9%, 10% or 12%.
Save the Compressed Image:
To save the compressed image, you will need to be in your folder that contains all of the uncompressed images. Click on Compress selected files and select a compression level. The lower the compression level, the larger the file size.
For best results, we recommend a compression level of 10. Once you have made your selection, click OK. You can see how much space is saved by viewing the Size column next to each file.
Your new compressed image should now appear at the bottom of your list with a .pngc extension, indicating it was created by Tiny PNG ().
